Cairo: Al-Azhar University will host the Egyptian Universities and Ministry of Higher Education Forum starting Sunday, with 29 Egyptian universities participating. The event aims to boost national awareness and engagement among university students.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the forum, held from Feb. 8 to 11 in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, will be attended by students from across the country under a unified national framework.

Activities include cultural, intellectual, sports, and artistic programs designed to support students' sense of belonging and encourage their role in national development.

University officials said the forum reflects Al-Azhar University's educational and national role, providing an opportunity for dialogue, exchange of experiences, and the development of leadership skills among students.
