North sinai: Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Alaa Farouk inspected a number of agricultural and developmental projects in North Sinai Governorate.

According to State Information Service Egypt, during the visit, Farouk was accompanied by his Deputy Minister of Agriculture Mostafa el Sayyad, Ministry's technical advisor Magdy Abdallah, Head of the Desert Research Center Hossam Shawky, and Head of the Livestock and Poultry Development Sector Tarek Soliman. The minister and North Sinai Governor Khaled Mogahed discussed several files of mutual interest.

During the tour, the minister also laid the foundation stone for the Desert Research Center station in Sheikh Zuweid and honored participants in the 'Ask and Consult' initiative.
