Amman: The Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army announced on Friday, in alignment with Royal directives, that three Royal Air Force aircraft successfully carried out three airdrops of food supplies on northern Gaza Strip.

This move is a part of Jordan’s continuous efforts to provide food, medical, and relief aid to Gaza Strip residents in an effort to lessen the effects of the conflict and make up for the acute shortage of supplies brought on by the Israeli military’s ongoing, now in its 147th day, assault on the Strip.

The Armed Forces affirm that they are still sending relief by air bridge to provide medical and humanitarian aid, whether via airdrops into the Gaza Strip or via aid planes flying from Marka Airport to El-Arish International Airport.

National News Agency correspondent in Tyre reported that two enemy air raids targeted Jabal Blat in the direction of the town of Ramia in south Lebanon.

Additionally, NNA correspondent in Tyre reported that a series of enemy air raids targeted the outskirts of the southern Lebanese towns of Ramia and Aita al-Shaab.

20,000 worshipers perform Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque


Occupied Jerusalem: Despite the tight military controls put in place by the Israeli occupation authorities, about 20,000 worshipers performed Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque/ Al-Haram Al-Sharif in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

“20,000 performed Friday prayers inside the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the significant restrictions imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities on the entry of worshipers,” according to a statement released by the Islamic Awqaf Department in Jerusalem.

Jordanian ambassador to France presents credentials


Paris: Ambassador Leena Al-Hadid presented on Friday her credentials to President of France

Emmanuel Macron, as the Kingdom’s extraordinary, plenipotentiary, accredited, and resident envoy to France.

During a ceremony at the Elysée Palace, Al-Hadid conveyed the warm greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II to President Macron, extending sincere wishes for the continued progress and development of the French people.

President Macron, in turn, requested Ambassador Al-Hadid to convey his sincere greetings and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II.

French government representatives including Foreign Minister Stephane Ségornet attended the ceremony.

No fire casualties reported among Jordanians in Bangladesh, says foreign ministry


Amman: Head of the Directorate of Operations and Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ambassador Sufian Qudah, said that none of the victims of the fire that erupted in a commercial building in the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka, yesterday, were Jordanians.

According to Ambassador Qudah, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s Embassy in Islamabad got in touch with the official authorities in Bangladesh, who verified that none of the casualties were Jordanians.

Foreign ministry condoles Bangladesh over commercial complex’s fire victims


Amman: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates offered condolences to the government and people of Bangladesh over the victims of the fire that occurred yesterday in a commercial complex in the country’s capital, Dhaka, and left many people killed and injured.

The ministry spokesperson, Ambassador Sufian Qudah, stressed the Kingdom’s sympathy with the government and people of the friendly People’s Republic of Bangladesh, expressing condolences to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

GAZA: In the early hours of this morning, at least four Palestinians were killed and several others injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Local sources confirmed that Israeli occupation forces targeted a populated house belonging to the Al-Qurainawi family in the camp, leading to the killing of at least four citizens and injuring others.

This incident follows a horrific massacre committed by the occupation forces on Thursday morning along Al-Rashid Street in western Gaza City. Over 112 Palestinians were killed and hundreds injured in the attack, which targeted thousands of civilians who were awaiting the arrival of aid trucks.

The full-flegded Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip enters today its 147th day, with the death toll surpassing 30,000 and more than 70,215 injured, according to the latest statistics.

Zarqa: On Friday, the eighth anniversary of Major Rashid Hussein Al-Zyoud’s martyrdom, the Polish Ambassador in Amman, Lucjan Karpinski, paid a visit to his tomb in the Martyrs’ Cemetery in the Grisa area of the Al-Hashimiyya District.

The Martyr Rashid Al-Zyoud Association for Charitable and Development Works was the first place the Polish Ambassador visited after departing from the Martyrs’ Cemetery. Retired Major General Hussein Al-Zyoud, the father of the martyr, greeted him.

The ambassador recalled the hero Rashid’s sacrifices in the fight against terrorist organizations, pointing out that the martyr Al-Zyoud facilitated the growth of ties and improved collaboration between the Republic of Poland and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

On the fifth anniversary of the martyrdom of Rashid Al-Zyoud, it is noteworthy that the Polish Special Forces released a film honoring his valor in the joint security and defense operations between the Jordanian and Polish Special Operations. Additionally, the Polish Speci
al Missions Unit had previously announced the naming of one of the most significant military training sites in Poland and the construction of a memorial to the martyr. The unit bears his name as a tribute to his bravery and collaborative quality operations.

It is noteworthy that on March 1, 2016, the brave Al-Zyoud was killed in the Irbid Governorate when fighting with a terrorist cell.

Amnesty International requests investigation into over 100 Palestinians killed in Gaza


Amman: An immediate and comprehensive inquiry has been demanded by Amnesty International in response to a horrific event that occurred in Gaza and involved Israeli occupation forces killing at least 104 Palestinians who were waiting for food deliveries.

The London-based human rights organization underlined the seriousness of the humanitarian catastrophe caused by Israel’s blockade and ceaseless bombardment, emphasizing the urgent need for accountability and justice for the victims.

Through its “X” platform account, the organization verified that it is still recording violations against Palestinian civilians and that this attack is a part of that.
