Foreign Ministry: Solving the Palestinian issue is the only way to stability

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said today that resolving the Palestinian issue is the only way to achieve security and stability in the region and to build normal relations between the region’s countries. The Foreign Ministry added in a press statement that “Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s attempts to postpone the solution of the Palestinian issue, or to replace it with partial and incomplete solutions, are miserable, failed, and obvious attempts that will only deepen and aggravate the conflict, which distances the chances of reviving the peace process by time.” The statement pointed out that “Netanyahu deliberately and systematically ignores the Palestinian issue and the strategic advantages the solution of which will have on the security and stability of the region and the world.” “In his statements, he [Netanyahu] often talks about issues related to the region, as if the Palestinian cause is behind his back, trying to skip or marginalize it,” said the Foreign Ministry. “He [Netanyahu] is seeking to overturn the realities of the conflict and rearrange the priorities of politics in the region to serve the interests of the colonial occupation, and to buy more time to complete the Judaization of Jerusalem and the annexation of the West Bank,” added the statement.
