ADJD’s Experts Affairs Committee endorses enrollment of 12 experts in various disciplines

ABU DHABI, 17th April, 2023 (WAM) — The Expert Affairs Committee of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) issued a decision approving the applications for admission in the experts’ roster submitted by 12 experts in various disciplines, in addition to accepting the applications for renewal of registration submitted by five other experts. The Expert Affairs Committee chaired by Yousef Saeed Alabri, Undersecretary of the Judicial Department, considered a complaint lodged against an expert and took appropriate decisions on it. The Committee held its meeting under the chairmanship of Youssef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of the Judicial Department, in the presence of Counsellor Ali Al Shaer Al Dhaheri, Director of the Judicial Inspection Division; Judge Mohamed Kamel Elgendy, Judge at Al Ain Court; Yousif Hasan Alhosani, Executive Director of the Judicial Support Sector; Khamees Mubarak Al Qubaisi, Director of Lawyers and Experts Affairs Division; and Dr. Hareb Hamad Al Kuwaiti, Head of the Expertise Technical Office. hlam Almazrooi/ Binsal Abdulkader

House committee, Turkish envoy talk cooperation, region

Chairman of the Lower House Foreign Affairs Committee, MP Khaldoun Haina, stressed the importance of the Hashemite custodianship over Jerusalem’s Islamic and Christian holy sites. During the committee’s meeting on Monday, with Turkish ambassador to Jordan, Erdem Ozan, Haina called on halting Israeli occupation forces’ attacks on the brotherly Palestinian people. Haina also referred to harmony in Jordanian-Turkish positions on the key regional and international crises, especially high-profile issues, as the two countries’ leadership make distinguished stances in confronting Israeli arrogance towards the Palestinian cause and its violations against Jerusalem and its sanctities. Jordan, Haina noted, is facing “remarkable” pressure on its resources and infrastructure, for receiving multiple refugee waves, the latest was Syrian. Haina indicated that return of Syria as an Arab League member is a “positive” sign, calling on strengthening Jordanian-Turkish relations in various tourism, trade, economy and parliament fields. Meanwhile, the committee’s members stressed the need to strengthen bilateral relations in various medical and commercial tourism fields. The lawmakers offered condolences to the Turkish ambassador over the recent earthquake, which claimed lives of thousands of victims. For his part, the envoy said bilateral relations are witnessing “great” development in various trade and tourism fields. Stressing “identical” Turkish-Jordanian position on the Palestinian cause, Erdem highlighted the necessity of making just and comprehensive peace to establish an independent Palestinian state on June 4, 1967 borders. The envoy also pointed to the importance of restoring Syria to its Arab depth by activating its Arab League membership, valuing Jordan’s initiative to help Syria restore its Arab League membership. Erdem valued Jordan’s positions under His Majesty King Abdullah II’s positions for its assistance provided after the earthquake that recently struck Turkiye.
