The presidential pardon committee announced that it works on finalizing measures to release 31 prisoners held in custody in accordance with the committee’s regulatory laws.
In a statement released on Monday 16/1/2023, the committee asserted that it would continue its work to release more inmates and merge them into the society.
It also noted that coordination is underway with the various state bodies, topped by the Prosecution and the Interior Ministry to release the detainees.
The committee extended thanks to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Public Prosecutor Hamada El Sawi and the Interior Ministry over their sincere efforts to finalize the release procedures.
