ستصبح “مجموعة سي إتش ترايدنغ” الوكيل الحصري في أكثر من مئة دولة وستلتزم بحدّ أدنى من شراء المنتجات بقيمة 225 مليون دولار

تتيح الشراكة الوصول إلى المنتجات الصّحية والمواد الحيوية التجديدية الحلال المعتمدة من   “سلولاريتي” في كافة أنحاء الشرق الأوسط والعالم الإسلامي الأوسع

فلورهام بارك، نيو جيرسي، الرياض، جدة , 11 يناير / كانون الثاني 2023/PRNewswire/ — أعلنت اليوم “سلولاريتي” (المسجّلة في بورصة ناسداك تحت الرمز CELU)، وهي شركة التكنولوجيا الحيوية التي تعنى بتطوير علاجات الخلايا الخيفية المستخرجة من المشيمة ومنتجات المواد الحيوية، ومقرّها الولايات المتحدة، ومجموعة “سي إتش ترايدنغ”، الشركة الدولية للاستيراد والتصدير والتجارة، عقد اتفاقية توزيع حصرية. وبموجب الاتفاقية، ستصبح مجموعة “سي إتش ترايدنغ” الوكيل الحصري لمنتجات “سلولاريتي” الحلال التي تم الإعلان عنها سابقًا في أكثر من 100 دولة، وتنصّ اتفاقية توزيع منتجات “سلولاريتي” الحلال على الالتزام بحدّ أدنى من الشراء لمدة خمس سنوات تبلغ قيمته 225 مليون دولار.

وقال سيد زيان، الرئيس التنفيذي لـ”مجموعة سي إتش ترايدنغ”: “يشير الطلب في السوق على منتجات المواد الحيوية التجارية لشركة “سلولاريتي” إلى بروز فرصة تجارية مهمة لتحقيق إيرادات بمليار دولار في كافة أسواق مناطق السوق الإسلامي في الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا. ونتطلّع لتسهيل وصول أكبر عدد ممكن من السكّان في المنطقة إلى هذه الأدوية والمنتجات الصحية الفعّالة من خلال اتفاقية التوزيع الحصرية مع “سلولاريتي”.”

وبحسب أحدث تحليل أجرته Emergent Research ، بلغت قيمة سوق الأدوية التجديدية العالمي 9.80 مليار دولار عام 2021 ويُتوقّع أن ينمو بمعدل سنوي مركّب يبلغ 15.9% لتصل قيمته إلى 37.10 مليار دولار عام 2030.

وستتولّى “مجموعة سي إتش ترايدنغ” بموجب هذه الاتفاقية توزيع المنتجات في أكثر من م ا ئة من الدول الأعضاء في المنظمات الحكومية الدولية التالية (“الأسواق الإسلامية”) أو المرتبطة بها :

  • منظمة التعاون الإسلامي التي تضمّ 57 دولة في أربع قارات .
  • مجلس التعاون الخليجي الذي يضمّ البحرين والكويت وعمان وقطر والمملكة العربية السعودية والإمارات العربية المتحدة.
  • الاتحاد الأفريقي، ويضم 55 دولة .

CCTV+: China’s top disciplinary body adopts communique to promote full, rigorous Party self-governance

BEIJING, Jan. 11, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — The Communist Party of China’s (CPC) top disciplinary body on Tuesday pledged in a communique that studying and implementing the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress will be the primary political task now and in the near future, and constantly promoting full, rigorous Party self-governance.

The communique was adopted at the second plenary session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the CPC, which was held in Beijing from Monday to Tuesday.

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, Chinese president and chairman of the Central Military Commission, attended the session and made an important speech.

The speech made by Xi at the session was studied, and it was agreed that it provided fundamental guidance for advancing the great new project of Party building in the new era and the disciplinary inspection and supervision work on China’s new journey in the new era, according to the communique, which called on all Party members to study and implement the spirit of Xi’s speech.

Discipline inspection and supervision organs must take the study and implementation of the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress as a primary political task at the current stage and in the years to come, and turn effective implementation of the guiding principles into a strong driving force to promote high-quality development of the disciplinary inspection and supervision work on the new journey of the new era.

An eight-point requirement was put forward by the session:

  • To focus on implementation of the strategic decisions of the 20th CPC National Congress to intensify political oversight;
  • To promote improvement of the systems and regulations for the Party’s self-reform;
  • To ensure that political inspections serve as a powerful tool;
  • To implement the central Party leadership’s eight-point decision on improving conduct with perseverance, tackle pointless formalities, bureaucratism, hedonism, and extravagance;
  • To make all-around efforts to tighten Party discipline;
  • To win the tough and protracted battle against corruption;
  • To advance reform of the discipline inspection and supervision system in an in-depth manner;
  • And to develop qualified human resources capable of shouldering responsibilities in discipline inspection and supervision on the new journey in the new era.

Two ministers discuss establishing micro projects to provide jobs for underprivileged citizens

Public Business Sector Minister Mahmoud Essmat and Social Solidarity Minister Nevine el Qabbag probed ways of establishing micro projects to secure job opportunities for underprivileged citizens.

There is an urgent need to draw up a strategy aiming to support the productive families’ projects in the various spheres in cooperation with the relevant bodies and ministries, the two ministers affirmed during the meeting held on Thursday 12/1/2023.

The meeting, meanwhile, tackled a host of issues as part of the State’s policy which primarily aims to provide the necessary facilities to attain economic empowerment, provide jobs to the underprivileged citizens.

The two ministers also discussed ways of forging partnerships with electronic platforms to market the products of the productive families’ projects.

Finance min. issues amendments to some provisions of VAT law

Finance Minister Mohamed Maait issued a decision amending some provisions of the value-added tax (VAT) law.

The executive regulations of the VAT law set measures to suspend tax on imported machinery and equipment for industrial production for one year.

Also, goods or services exported by economic zone projects of a special nature abroad will be subject to tax at a “zero” rate.

The VAT’s exemptions aim to support the industrial sector and boost economic growth.

Also, foreign passengers who departed Egypt for a period less than three months shall be entitled to refund VAT value they paid of the registered seller for purchases of taxable goods.

The provided value of their purchases must be in one invoice and not less than EGP 1,500.

PM stresses Egypt’s support for development efforts in Iraq

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli stressed Egypt’s support for all efforts to achieve development and stability in Iraq.

Madbouli’s remarks came during his meeting on Thursday with Iraqi Ambassador in Cairo Ahmed Nayef al Delimi.

The premier called for intensifying the efforts to implement the agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) signed between the two countries, as well as accelerating cooperation on the participation of Egyptian companies in the reconstruction process in Iraq.

On his part, the Iraqi ambassador briefed the prime minister on the current preparations for holding the meetings of the Egyptian-Iraqi Joint Higher Committee.

Delimi said the Iraqi government will work in the coming period on establishing new mechanisms for increasing the involvement of Egyptian companies in the reconstruction process in Iraq.

PM: Egypt keen to foster cooperation with Italy

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said Egypt is keen on fostering relations with Italy in different fields to achieve mutual interests, as well as coordinating on all issues of common concern related to the Middle East or the East Mediterranean or at the international level.

Madbouli’s comments came during his meeting on Thursday with Italian Ambassador in Cairo Michele Quaroni.

The premier expressed hope to build in the coming period on the positive momentum created by the recent meeting held between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, on the sidelines of the UN Climate Change Conference, COP27.

On his part, the Italian ambassador lauded the high-level billateral meetings held in the past period, foremost of which was Sisi-Meloni summit in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh, as well as the talks between Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Italian counterpart in Rome.

Quaroni and Madbouli explored cooperation opportunities in a number of fields in the coming period, notably the sectors of energy, maritime transport and land reclamation.

The two sides agreed on following up on the mechanisms for activating bilateral cooperation in those areas.

PM follows up on environment ministry’s efforts to solve investors’ problems

Prime Minister Mostafa Mabdouli followed up on efforts exerted by the Environment Ministry to solve investors’ problems and support investment climate in Egypt.

Madbouli also highlighted the State’s seriousness in addressing problems that impede investment, in line with directives issued by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

This came during Madbouli’s meeting Thursday with Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad.

The meeting also tackled the ongoing efforts exerted by the Environment Ministry to promote the investment climate in Egypt.

During the meeting, Madbouli underlined the need of reviewing the system related to issuing the environmental approvals to the industrial projects.

Fouad pointed out to her ministry’s efforts to shorten the period of issuing environmental approvals to seven working days instead of 30.

The minister further also tackled ways of carrying out investments in the natural reserves through raising the efficiency of several reserves, including Nabq, Ras Mohamed and Wadi el Rayan.

She also presented several proposals to encourage the private sector to invest in the voluntary carbon market, which aims to offset CO2 emissions.

Emigration min.: We are keen on cooperating with parl’t to serve Egyptians abroad

Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi underscored keenness on cooperating and coordinating all efforts with the parliament to serve Egyptians living abroad, according to a statement by the ministry on Thursday.

Gendi’s remarks came during a meeting with Member of the Foreign Relations Committee of the House of Representatives MP Siham Beshai, held to probe ways of cooperation in promoting national identity for Egyptian expats.

Gendi pointed out to cooperation between the ministry and MPs, saying presidential initiative “Speak Arabic”, that was launched by the ministry is aiming to maintain the Egyptian identity through getting acquainted with their homeland’s heritage and antiquities.

Beshai, for her part, commended the efforts exerted by the ministry to serve the Egyptians abroad.

She expressed readiness for cooperating in all files of the ministry to attain this target.
