The Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) reviewed the most prominent efforts of the Egyptian state to support and protect persons with disabilities.
This came in an infographic published by the IDSC under the rubric “Egypt emerges victorious for the disabled” coinciding with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD), that falls on December 3 each year.
The infographic said that “Ataa Fund” was established as the first charity investment fund that targets investing funds to redirect its income to care for the disabled.
The infographic added that as per the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, a national program was established for a unified system for producing artificial limbs and prosthesis.
