COP27 to contribute to Egypt’s “new republic”

Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad stressed that Egypt’s hosting of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) will contribute to highlighting the “new republic”.

Although Egypt did not get sufficient funds for confronting climate change, it has nontetheless set up numerous projects in this field and has joined world countries in confronting climate change.

During the Gomhuria Exhibition and Conference, Fouad said the convocation of COP27 in Egypt offers an opportunity for many partnerships.

She noted that Egyptian and international universities can engage in partnerships during the science day – due to be held during COP27 in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The conference will also offer a chance for the private sector’s participation, thus contributing to promoting green action, she said, adding that it will also contribute to accomplishing more projects in the field of climate adaptation.

Fouad noted that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi was keen to encourage countries to update their plans, referring to Egypt’s ambitious national plan aiming to reduce 33 percent of emissions of electricity, 65 percent of the petroleum sector and 7 percent in the transports sector.

She added that the success of the conference requires conformity among 198 countries on a decision to push forward the climate change agenda to be implemented in such watershed stage.

She thanked Grand Imam of Al Azhar Ahmed Tayyeb for the seminars due to be organized as well as Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese for the church document on confronting climate change.

Egypt reclaims its international standing in religious discourse

Minister of Awqaf Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa said Egypt has reclaimed its international position in the religious discourse and at all levels under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

Gomaa was speaking during the 4th session of the “Sisi’s Egypt & building a modern state” conference, organized Sunday by Al Gomhuria newspaper under the theme: “Religious discourse in the modern state.”

Thanking President Sisi for his efforts in support of a moderate and enlightened religious discourse, the minister stressed that the states that were founded on the principles citizenship and tolerance are more stable and progressive.

He noted that the large construction projects involving places of worship over the past few years reflect the extent of religious tolerance Egypt is witnessing under President Sisi’s leadership.

Gomaa added that his ministry had always been keen on broadening the cultural horizons of imams and female preachers by organizing many training courses for them, whether at the International Awkaf Academy or in cooperation with Al Azhar, the National Training Academy, Egyptian universities, Nasser Higher Military Academy, and many other relevant entities.

Gomaa’s participation in the event is part of the ministry’s commitment to contribute to community engagement and cooperation with all state institutions.

Civil aviation min. meets CPYP delegation

Civil Aviation Minister Mohamed Manar met on Sunday with a delegation representing the Coordination Committee of Party’s Youth Leaders and Politicians (CPYP).

The meeting aimed to get the delegation posted on the Civil Aviation Ministry’s strategy to develop the air transport system at all affiliated companies in line with Egypt Vision 2030.

Manar said the political leadership attaches great importance to rehabilitating young people and is keen to give them chances to assume leading positions.

He updated the delegation on development of some Egyptian airports to comply with Egypt Vision 2030.

They tackled restructuring EgyptAir companies and a project to modernize its air fleet, which contributes to maximizing revenues and rationalizing expenditures, in addition to the digital transformation system in the aviation sector.

PM discusses with ministers green hydrogen projects

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli chaired a meeting on Monday to follow up on plans on electrical linkage with a number of neighboring countries and reviewed efforts exerted to establish green hydrogen projects across the country.

 

Attended by Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker and Petroleum Minister Tarek Al Molla, the meeting tackled a plan to rationalize electricity consumption in light of the global gas crisis, Cabinet spokesman Nader Saad said.

 

The meeting pointed to plans of electrical linkage with the European Union as a consulting office is currently conducting the related studies.

 

The prime minister asserted the importance of harnessing all efforts to establish green hydrogen projects as they will be attracting more foreign direct investments to the country in the coming period.

 

The meeting discussed implementing a plan to rationalize electricity consumption at ministries and governmental bodies.

‫شركة Mitratel تنجح في تحقيق إيرادات قدرها 3.72 تريليون روبية إندونيسية وزيادة صافي أرباحها بنسبة 27.2% 

جاكرتا، إندونيسيا، 1 أغسطس 2022 / PRNewswire / — حققت شركة PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (رمز التداول في بورصة إندونيسيا: MTEL) (شركة Mitratel ) إيرادات قدرها 3.72 تريليون روبية إندونيسية في النصف الأول من عام 2022، بزيادة قدرها 15.5% مقارنة بالإيرادات التي حققتها في النصف الأول من عام 2021. وقد أسهمت هذه الإيرادات في زيادة صافي أرباح الشركة بنسبة 27.2% لتصل إلى 892 مليار روبية إندونيسية.

وفي تعليقه على هذا الخبر، قال ثيودوروس أردي هارتوكو (المعروف باسم تيدي هارتوكو)، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة Mitratel : “عقب الطرح العام الأولي لأسهم الشركة في بورصة إندونيسيا في النصف الأول من عام 2022، أصبح لدينا أسس راسخة لتحقيق نمو مستدام؛ وذلك بفضل إستراتيجيتنا “للنمو العضوي”، والإيرادات المرتفعة التي حققتها الأعمال التجارية المرتبطة بأبراج الاتصالات، ومنتجاتنا المبتكرة، وترشيد التكاليف”.

وفي النصف الأول من عام 2022، ارتفعت أرباح شركة Mitratel قبل خصم الفوائد والضرائب والإهلاك والإطفاء ( EBITDA ) إلى 77.5%، كما ارتفعت هوامش صافي الأرباح إلى 23.9%؛ وقد كان العامل الرئيسي الذي أسهم في تحقيق هذه الأرباح هو ارتفاع هامش أرباح EBITDA لمحافظ أعمال تأجير أبراج الاتصالات إلى 85.2%. وقد تحقق ذلك بفضل ترشيد التكاليف والتركيز على الأعمال التجارية ذات هوامش الأرباح الأعلى في قطاع أبراج الاتصالات بهدف تحقيق ربحية أعلى.

وقد شكّلت إيرادات تأجير الأبراج معظم إيرادات الشركة في النصف الأول من عام 2022؛ حيث ارتفعت إيرادات تأجير الأبراج من 2.93 إلى 3.33 تريليون روبية إندونيسية بزيادة قدرها 13.5%، كما ارتفعت إيرادات الأعمال التجارية الأخرى المرتبطة بالأبراج إلى 399 مليار روبية إندونيسية بزيادة قدرها 35.4% مقارنة بالفترة نفسها من العام الماضي.

وفي النصف الأول من عام 2022، بلغ عدد الأبراج التي تملكها شركة Mitratel 28787 برجًا، بزيادة قدرها 23.9% (5555 برجًا إضافيًا) مقارنة بالنصف الأول من عام 2021، كما زاد عدد مستأجري الأبراج من 36507 إلى 43900 مستأجر، بزيادة قدرها 20.3%.

وقد بلغت القيمة الإجمالية لأصول الشركة 55.06 تريليون روبية إندونيسية في حين بلغت حقوق مساهميها 33.49 تريليون روبية إندونيسية. وفي النصف الأول من عام 2022، بلغت القيمة الإجمالية لخصوم الشركة 21.56 تريليون روبية إندونيسية بانخفاض قدره 10.4% بعد سداد الشركة لقروض طويلة الأجل بقيمة 5.1 تريليون روبية إندونيسية، شملت سداد مبكّر لديون طويلة الأجل بقيمة 4.3 تريليون روبية إندونيسية، وذلك باستخدام الفائض النقدي الناتج عن الأعمال التشغيلية والقروض المُعاد تمويلها بمعدّلات فائدة أقل.

تجدر الإشارة إلى أنّ شركة Mitratel هي شركة أبراج اتصالات إندونيسية حققت أعلى معدّلات النمو في عدد الأبراج والعملاء -مقارنة بالشركات المنافسة- خلال المدّة من 2017 إلى 2021. وتتمتع Mitratel بثقة مجموعة كبيرة من العملاء، من بينهم شركة Telkomsel (أكبر عملاء Mitratel) ؛ وهي أكبر شركة اتصالات خلوية في إندونيسيا وتتمتع بأفضل تصنيف ائتماني في البلاد؛ وهو ما يوفر لمستأجري الأبراج من شركات الاتصالات وغيرها فرصة كبيرة لتوسيع تغطية خدماتهم لتشمل أعمالًا تجارية داعمة أخرى. وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، لا ينطوي التعامل مع Mitratel على مخاطر التقلبات في أسعار صرف العملات الأجنبية؛ حيث إنّ جميع قروضها بالروبية الإندونيسية. وقد ظلت نسبة الدين إلى حقوق الملكية ونسبة صافي الدين إلى الأرباح قبل خصم الفوائد والضرائب والإهلاك والإطفاء ( EBITDA ) ثابتة عند 44.3% و- 0.4x على التوالي.

وستواصل Mitratel في المستقبل تنفيذ مبادراتها الإستراتيجية للحفاظ على مكانتها الرائدة في السوق، وتعزيز مجموعات منتجاتها وحلولها الجديدة، وتسريع تنفيذ إستراتيجيتها “للنمو غير العضوي” عن طريق استهدافها بناء 6000 برج في هذا العام، مع العمل على زيادة أرباحها وتدفقاتها النقدية من خلال ترشيد التكاليف.
