President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a presidential decree No.368 of 2022 appointing Sherif Sedqi as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA) as of Aug 19.
The decree was published in the official Gazette out on Monday.

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli had talks on Monday with Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese and youths taking part in the Logos Coptic Youth Forum (LYF) 2022.
The meeting was attended by Emigration Minister Soha Gendi.
Pope Tawadros opened the forum on Sunday with the participation of 200 youths from 35 dioceses worldwide.

Civil Aviation Minister Mohamed Abbas Helmy has voiced his ministry’s keenness on honing skills of young people through providing them with the best training programs in the field of air transport.
Speaking at a ceremony to mark the graduation of a new batch of the Egyptian Aviation Academy (EAA), the minister called on the graduates to keep pace with the latest developments in the field of aviation.
He pointed out that the Egyptian Aviation Academy has distinguished scientific and training capabilities in the area of aviation.

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attaches great importance to the national project for manufacturing and collecting plasma derivatives, affirmed Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli.
The project aims to achieve self-sufficiency of plasma-derived medicines and products, a matter which will contribute to enhancing the level of medical services provided to citizens, added Madbouli during a meeting held on Sunday evening to follow up on the executive position of the national project for manufacturing and collecting plasma derivatives.
During the meeting, Health and Population Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar tackled the executive status of the project’s infrastructure, including units and centers for collection of plasma derivatives nationwide.
CEO of Grifols Egypt Magdi Amin reviewed the progress in the national project, in implementation of President Sisi’s directives to achieve self-sufficiency of plasma-derived medicines and products.
Coordination is maintained with the Health and Population Ministry in order to establish plasma donation centers, in line with international standards in this respect, added Amin, who attended the meeting via video conference.

– Academic and cultural exchange through the Belt and Road Initiative training course for African ophthalmologists
SHENYANG, China, Aug. 22, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and co-organized by Shenyang Normal University and He Eye Hospital Group, the one-month training course for ophthalmologists from Belt and Road countries was officially launched in August.
