ABU DHABI: The Department of Community Development (DCD), in partnership with Deloitte, will host the Social Care Forum on 2nd and 3rd October 2024, an event poised to redefine the future of social services in the UAE.
The two-day forum will discuss challenges and opportunities in the social care sector, including current trends in social care, the impact of global developments on the future of services, strategies to attract, nurture and sustain talent in the social sector, emerging social services, and other topics.
The forum will feature more than 40 thought leaders, senior officials, experts and policymakers from around the world.
Mubarak Salem Al Ameri, Executive Director of the Licensing and Control Sector at the Department of Community Development (DCD) in Abu Dhabi, said, ‘In its first edition, the Social Care Forum will explore the future of social welfare by bringing together leading figures and organisations in the field, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s leading position in the social welfare sector and
helping to shape future policies and practices both locally and internationally.’
This pivotal gathering aims to foster innovation and collaboration within the social services workforce, creating an integrated approach to meet the evolving needs of the community.
