PM Praises Consumer Protection Agency’s June Achievements

Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli praised the efforts exerted by the Consumer Protection Agency (CPA) and its branches across the governorates, emphasizing the importance of enhancing the agency's performance in monitoring markets, spreading awareness about consumer rights and handling complaints. Madbouli's remarks came during a review of a detailed report submitted by CPA Chairman Ibrahim el Sagini, outlining the agency's key activities and achievements during June 2025.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouli reiterated the government's strong focus on market regulation and efforts to combat price manipulation, especially of strategic commodities. He asserted the need for sustained action from all regulatory and enforcement bodies at the governorate level to curb monopolistic practices, protect consumer rights and ensure a fair and competitive market environment.
