Cairo: Executive Director of the National Election Authority (NEA) Ahmed Bendary said that voting in the first phase of Egypt's 2025 parliamentary elections abroad has seen a strong turnout. In televised statements, Bendary explained that the authority began an extensive awareness campaign in November 2024, engaging schools, Egyptian communities overseas, political parties, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports to inform citizens of their voting rights and reassure them about the transparency and fairness of the electoral process.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Bendary added that coordination between state institutions and Egyptian embassies abroad has ensured smooth voting procedures, stressing that every Egyptian overseas can vote easily and securely, in line with the NEA's commitment to integrity and professionalism.
