Cairo: Egypt's Minister of State for Military Production Salah Soliman Gombulat discussed on Tuesday, April 7, 2025, prospects for joint cooperation with a high-level delegation from the Central African Republic, headed by Defense Minister Bireau Rameaux Claude.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the Central African delegation included Defense Minister Bireau Rameaux Claude, Presidential Advisor Mandaba Theodore, Minister of Mining Benam Beltoungon, Minister of Planning and Economy Filakota Richard, Ambassador of the Central African Republic in Cairo Gambi Guy Rodrigue, as well as representatives of Amstone International Group.
Gombulat emphasized the Ministry of Military Production's commitment to strengthening industrial partnerships with African nations to promote mutual interests. A documentary film was presented to showcase the ministry's military and civilian industries.
The minister highlighted the potential for collaboration, noting that the Central African Republic's natural resources could serve as key industrial raw materials for mining-related industries carried out by the ministry's companies. An integrated partnership could involve supplying these raw materials for use in military production factories and exporting finished products back to the Central African Republic.
During the meeting, Gombulat also reviewed the capabilities of the ministry's Training Sector, which includes advanced educational facilities and laboratories. The sector organizes training programs for African military and civilian trainees across various fields.
Members of the Central African delegation expressed appreciation for the warm reception and praised the success of the Egypt international defense exhibition 'EDEX 2025.' They also commended the Ministry of Military Production's capabilities and expressed interest in cooperating in mining industries, training specialists, and exporting agricultural equipment.
Representatives of Amstone International Group expressed satisfaction with the ongoing cooperation with the Ministry of Military Production, recognizing it as a key national industrial backbone supporting Egypt's efforts to localize advanced technologies.
