Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, signed with the French Development Agency a development financing agreement worth 50 million euros and a grant worth 1.5 million euros. She also witnessed the signing of a grant agreement between the European Union and the French Development Agency, worth 10 million euros, bringing the total funding to 61.5 million. Euro, in order to implement the third phase of completing the Yellow Mountain Water Treatment Plant Project.
The project aims to contribute to improving wastewater treatment services at the state level, by implementing one of the largest water treatment plants in Egypt, the Middle East and Africa, within the state’s efforts to promote sustainable management of water resources.
