Industry Ministry Launches Investor Support App to Streamline Communication with Industrial Investors

Cairo: The Ministry of Industry has unveiled a new mobile application, the Investor Support App, aimed at enhancing communication and efficiency between industrial investors and government agencies. This initiative is part of a broader effort to reduce bureaucratic hurdles and promote Egypt's digital transformation agenda.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the app allows investors to submit complaints and inquiries electronically, offering a user-friendly platform to expedite response times and ensure more effective interactions with government bodies. The app features a personal dashboard where users can track the status of their cases in real-time, receive notifications about forwarded complaints, and get replies. Additionally, if responses are delayed, users can submit follow-up requests. The app also supports the attachment of up to five images per case to provide comprehensive information for each inquiry or complaint.

The application is easy to use: investors create an account with their personal or business details, select the service type-either a complaint or an inquiry-fill in the necessary information, and upload any relevant documents. Once submitted, users can monitor the progress of their cases directly through the app.

Currently, the Android version of the Investor Support App is available on the Google Play Store, with an iOS version expected to launch soon. The app is managed by the ministry's Investor Support and Service Unit, working in coordination with various relevant government entities to ensure efficient operation and response handling.
