FM: Ministry Pays Great Attention to Boosting Economic Diplomacy Worldwide


Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty asserted that his ministry is paying greater attention to boosting economic diplomacy with different countries worldwide in accordance with national priorities and Egypt Vision 2023.



According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty’s remarks came during a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel El-Wazir. The meeting was part of regular gatherings organized by the ministry to convene senior government officials and Egypt’s ambassadors and heads of diplomatic and consular missions abroad to discuss national policies and files.



The meeting provided an opportunity to learn more about the priorities of the ministries of industry and transport. Abdelatty commended the efforts by the two ministries to develop the transport system and promote industrial development efforts nationwide.



The foreign minister highlighted the important role of embassies and Egyptian missions abroad in promoting promising investment opportunities and supporting important industrial sectors in the country.



For his part, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel El-Wazir emphasized that the ministries of industry and transport have devised action plans to transform the country into a regional center for transport, logistics, and transit trade. This initiative, he added, will position Egypt as a vital hub for developing various industries.
