Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty discussed with his Philippine counterpart Maria Teresita Daza ways of boosting bilateral relations. This dialogue took place during a phone call, where Abdelatty congratulated Daza on her new position.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty expressed hope for the development of bilateral relations across different sectors, as the two nations commemorate the 80th anniversary of their diplomatic ties. He highlighted promising investment opportunities and reiterated Egypt's readiness to attract more investments and enhance partnerships with Asian countries.

The conversation between the two diplomats also included an exchange of viewpoints on the developments in the Middle East and Southeast Asia region.
