Emigration min lauds efforts to introduce expats to Egyptian history

Emigration Minister Soha Gendy has stressed keenness to get Egyptians abroad and in international schools acquainted with their history.

Gendy, during a meeting with historian and Egyptologist Dr Wassim el Sisi Monday, greatly appreciated efforts exerted to revive cultural heritage.

She welcomed his participation in the “Speak Arabic” camps. The presidential initiative, “Speak Arabic”, is concerned with organizing camps for expats, Gendy said. Dr Sisi attended the sixth annual camp and took part in an interactive debate attended by 80 children in the US, Canada, Italy, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar.

Dr Sisi said he is proud to promote knowledge about the Egyptian civilization since 1995.
