Egypt’s Preventive Sector Wins Top Arab Government Excellence Award


Nairobi: The Ministry of Health and Population announced on Thursday, December 5, 2025, that the Preventive Medicine and Public Health Sector has won the 2025 Arab Government Excellence Award in the category of ‘Best Arab Initiative for Government Development.”



According to State Information Service Egypt, the award recognizes significant achievements and contributions in the realm of government development across the Arab region. The Preventive Medicine and Public Health Sector was acknowledged for its initiatives that have improved public health management and preventive strategies within Egypt.



The Ministry highlighted that this accolade underscores the sector’s commitment to enhancing health services and implementing effective public health policies. The award serves as a testament to the sector’s efforts in pioneering health initiatives that have positively impacted the population.
