Beijing: Egypt’s Ambassador to China, Khaled Ahmed Farouk Nazmy, officially presented his credentials to Hong Lei, China’s Assistant Foreign Minister and Director-General of Protocol Department. During the meeting, the ambassador reaffirmed the strength of the strategic partnership between Cairo and Beijing, launched in 2014 by Presidents El-Sisi and Xi Jinping.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Nazmy emphasized Egypt’s commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation, particularly in investment, industrial localization, and technology transfer. He also called for boosting Chinese tourism to Egypt and underscored the importance of continued coordination in international forums.
Hong Lei welcomed the ambassador and praised the long-standing ties between the two nations, expressing hope for further growth in the relationship.
