Egypt’s amb. in Budapest meets with Hungarian PM & his deputy

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban expressed his country’s great appreciation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

This came during a meeting between the Hungarian premier and Egyptian Ambassador to Hungary Mohamed el Shennawy, the Foreign Ministry said on its Facebook page.

Amb. Shennawi also had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Hungary Zsolt Semjén on means to enhance bilateral relations between Egypt and Hungary, as well as the latest developments related to the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.

He expressed his appreciation of the great role played by Egypt in the Middle East in preventing illegal immigration, combating terrorism, and entrenching the values of tolerance and moderation.

He also stressed the crucial role played by Al Azhar Al Sharif and the Egyptian Church, hoping that Al Azhar Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed el Tayyeb and Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese will pay a visit to Hungary.
