Egyptian Hajj Mission Welcomes 4,000 Pilgrims to Madina

Madina: The Egyptian Assistant Minister of Interior for the Administrative Affairs Sector and CEO of the Hajj Mission has announced the successful arrival of 4,000 pilgrims from the official lottery Hajj mission to Madina. The flights transporting these pilgrims from Egypt are currently being directed to Mecca alongside those heading to Madina.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Assistant Interior Minister, in a statement to the Middle East News Agency (MENA) correspondent in Madina, confirmed that the air bridge between Egypt and Saudi Arabia will continue in the upcoming days. This will facilitate the transportation of lottery pilgrims to the Holy Lands. Officials from the lottery Hajj mission are present at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah to oversee arrival procedures and ensure the smooth transfer of pilgrims to Mecca, where they will be accommodated in hotels near the Grand Mosque.

The Assistant Minister highlighted the daily review of accommodation arrangements by lottery Hajj mission officials to ensure readiness and provision of amenities. The transportation strategy involves half of the pilgrims traveling to Madina Airport and returning home through Jeddah Airport, while the remaining pilgrims will travel via Jeddah and return through Madina.

Emphasizing preparedness, he stated that readiness levels have been heightened among the lottery Hajj mission officers at both Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Airport in Madina and King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah to expedite arrival procedures. This aligns with directives from Minister of Interior Mahmoud Tawfik to ensure comprehensive care for the pilgrims, facilitating their rituals with ease.

The Assistant Minister further mentioned that all mission members are working tirelessly to provide all necessary facilities for the pilgrims, ensuring their safe return home. He also urged pilgrims to cooperate with mission officials and follow the regulations in the Holy Lands, ensuring their safety and comfort during the rituals.

Pilgrims expressed their satisfaction with the services provided by the lottery mission, such as reception, organization, and accommodation in hotels close to the Prophet’s Mosque. They commended the mission’s management for its excellent services, including medical assistance and organized group visits to Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah.
