Abdelatty underlined Egypt's continued coordination with all regional and international parties to strengthen efforts toward a comprehensive resolution of the Sudanese crisis, safeguarding the Sudanese people's resources and fulfilling their aspirations for security and stability.
The meeting also addressed the issue of water security, as Egypt and Sudan reaffirmed the unified stand of the two countries as Nile basin states and emphasized the necessity of full compliance with international law in the Eastern Nile Basin, while completely rejecting unilateral measures on the Nile River.
