Abu dhabi: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty discussed with Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries. During the meeting, held on the sidelines of the Sir Bani Yas Forum, Abdelatty emphasized the significance of building on the current momentum in Egyptian-Polish relations and strengthening economic, trade, and investment cooperation to serve the mutual interests of both peoples.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the two ministers also exchanged views on regional and international issues, including developments in the Gaza Strip. Abdelatty reviewed Egypt’s efforts to consolidate a ceasefire, ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid, and outlined Egypt’s vision for early recovery and reconstruction in Gaza.
The meeting also discussed developments in Sudan, where Abdelatty stressed the importance of an immediate ceasefire, preserving Sudan’s unity, and supporting its national institutions. The talks further covered the latest developments in the Ukrainian crisis, with Abdelatty reaffirming Egypt’s support for diplomatic efforts aimed at reaching peaceful solutions that contribute to regional and international stability.
