Kuwait City: Egypt’s ambassador to Kuwait, Osama Shaltout, engaged in a discussion with Marzouq Dhaifallah al-Otaibi, the Acting Director General of Kuwait’s Public Authority for Manpower (PAM), regarding the establishment of a specialized technical committee. This committee will be formed from the Egyptian Ministry of Labor to collaborate with relevant Kuwaiti authorities. The goal is to identify and fulfill the Kuwaiti market’s demand for skilled Egyptian labor across various sectors, ensuring compliance with the laws and regulations governing the Kuwaiti labor market.

According to State Information Service Egypt, during a meeting held at the PAM headquarters, Ambassador Shaltout expressed satisfaction with the engagement and commended PAM officials for their services related to labor issues. He also acknowledged their ongoing efforts to enhance bilateral relations between Egypt and Kuwait, emphasizing the importance of these relations in serving the interests of all involved parties.

PAM, in response, welcomed the initiative, recognizing it as a step towards reinforcing the strong historical ties between Egypt and Kuwait. The initiative aims to create a balanced labor market by introducing trained and qualified workers to meet developmental needs and contribute to an improved work environment.

Both parties underscored the necessity of continued coordination and communication to ensure the initiative’s success, which is expected to serve the interests of both nations and further solidify the depth of Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations.
