Cairo: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aty met with Masad Boulos, Senior Adviser to the US President for Arab, Middle Eastern, and African Affairs, to discuss security challenges across Africa, focusing on regions such as the Horn of Africa, Sudan, Libya, and the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdel-Aty emphasized Egypt’s efforts to foster peace and stability in these areas. He elaborated on the nation’s commitment to supporting post-conflict reconstruction and stressed the significance of empowering national institutions. Additionally, he spoke about the necessity of maintaining territorial integrity and securing international backing to reduce humanitarian suffering in conflict-affected zones.
