Egypt and Kyrgyzstan Reaffirm Historical Ties in UN Meeting

New york: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates Badr Abdelatty praised Egypt's historically close ties with Kyrgyzstan during his meeting on Friday with Jeenbek Kulubaev, Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the high-level segment of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Abdelatty conveyed the greetings of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and expressed satisfaction with the progress in bilateral relations across various fields. He also welcomed the Kyrgyz president's intention to visit Egypt.

The top Egyptian diplomat highlighted the momentum in relations between the two nations and their mutual commitment to enhancing frameworks for joint cooperation. The focus is on economic, trade, development, and investment fields to fulfill the aspirations of both countries. There is also an emphasis on coordination within multilateral frameworks to achieve shared interests.
