EGAS, Eni, TotalEnergies Secure Agreement for Cronos Gas Field Project

Limassol: The Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) has entered into a handling, processing, and transport agreement for the Cronos gas field project with its partners Eni and TotalEnergies. This significant agreement was formalized during the Eastern Mediterranean Energy Conference and Exhibition (EMC) held in Limassol, Cyprus.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the agreement was signed by key figures from each participating company. Mahmoud Abdelhamid, who serves as the Chairman of EGAS, was joined by Francesco Gaspari, the President of Eni's subsidiary in Egypt (IEOC), Alessandro Gelmetti, the General Manager of Eni Cyprus, and Pascal Breant, the Managing Director of TotalEnergies in Egypt and Cyprus, in signing the agreement. This partnership aims to enhance collaboration in the development of the Cronos gas field, leveraging the expertise and resources of each company involved.
