Minister of Education Reda Hegazi said the new school year 2022/2023 will begin on October 1 as the ministry is keen on uniting the start of the academic year for all types of schools including Azharite ones as well as higher education across the country.

 

The minister also decided that the new academic year for international schools will start on September 18.

 

The first term of the academic year for all public, private, language, and experimental schools, which will start on October 1, will end on June 8, 2023, with the mid-year vacation starting on 28 January.

 

Earlier, the ministry has decided that the start of the academic year was scheduled for September 24.
