Cairo, USTOA Discuss Boosting American Tourist Flows to Egypt


Cairo: Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy on Thursday met with President and CEO of the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA) Terry Dale to discuss ways to boost American tourist flows to Egypt.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting focused on strategies to enhance tourism between the United States and Egypt. The discussions aimed at identifying collaborative efforts that could lead to an increase in the number of American tourists visiting Egypt, leveraging the extensive network and expertise of the USTOA.

Both parties explored various opportunities to promote Egypt as a preferred destination for American tourists. They considered initiatives that could highlight Egypt’s cultural and historical attractions, which are expected to appeal to the American market.

The meeting underlined the importance of strengthening ties between Egypt’s tourism sector and American tour operators, aiming to create a robust framework for sustainable tourism growth.
