Cairo to Host Arab-African Investment Summit

Cairo: Cairo will host the 28th edition of the Arab-African Investment and International Cooperation Conference and Exhibition on Sunday, October 19, 2025. The event will carry the theme "economic integration. investment and opportunities. international partnerships" and is set to run from October 19 to 22.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the conference is organized by the Arab Women Investors Union, led by Hoda Yassa. Yassa has welcomed distinguished guests and noted that additional delegations are expected to arrive throughout Saturday in preparation for the conference's opening and the accompanying exhibition. The event will feature a wide range of speakers from different countries.

Yassa highlighted the longstanding economic partnership between Egypt and Uganda, referencing historical Arab-Ugandan trade relations that date back to the 19th century. She also emphasized the strong relations between Egypt and Mauritius, noting the growing cooperation in trade, investment, and knowledge exchange.

Yassa stated that these efforts reflect a shared vision for economic growth and sustainable development, aiming to establish direct communication channels between business leaders and investors to expand partnership opportunities in strategic sectors.
