Armed Forces and Education Ministry Sign Cooperation Protocol to Modernize Curricula

Cairo: Head of the Armed Forces Training Authority Sherif Gouda al Arayeshi signed a cooperation protocol with Deputy Minister of Education and Technical Education Ayman Mohamed Bahaa el Din on Sunday, April 5, 2026. This agreement underscores the Armed Forces' dedication to enhancing human capabilities and improving the skills of its personnel.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the protocol is designed to advance the educational process and update the curricula offered to non-commissioned officers (NCOs), who are a crucial component of the Armed Forces. The agreement highlights the introduction of the Egyptian Baccalaureate and the Technological Baccalaureate programs at the NCOs Institute starting from 2026. Additionally, it aims to incorporate technological expertise across various educational sectors.
