The health sector witnessed unprecedented development over the past years, said Spokesman for the Health Ministry Hossam Abdel Ghaffar.
Speaking to DMC TV channel, he reiterated on Monday 6/3/2023 that 51 new hospitals and 110 health units have been built over the past years nationwide, while the largest numbers were in Upper Egypt governorates.
Hospitals have been upgraded in each governorate to provide citizens with better services.
The Health Ministry works on increasing the number of working hours in healthcare units to serve citizens perfectly, he added.
